About Project

To enhance and expand the mobile app of a bank in Vietnam, a new module has been integrated, designed to provide a more convenient and modern user experience through the use of voice commands. With the rapid development of artificial intelligence and voice recognition technology, banks are increasingly focusing on improving their services not only to meet current demands but also to offer more advanced interactive experiences to their customers.

The module provides a unique feature called the “wake-up service,” which allows the app to be activated through a simple greeting command like “Hi, bank.” This feature offers tremendous convenience, enabling users to open the app and start interacting without having to touch their phone or unlock the screen. This creates a seamless connection between users and the bank and enhances user interaction and friendliness, making them feel continuously cared for and supported.

Project Challenge

Speech Recognition Accuracy: Accurately recognizing and interpreting various Vietnamese dialects, accents, and speech patterns can be difficult, especially for financial transactions where precision is critical.

Wake-Up Command Responsiveness: Ensuring the app reliably responds to the “wake up” command: “Hi, bank” without false positives or ignoring genuine attempts.

Performance on Different Devices: Ensuring consistent performance across various devices with different hardware capabilities.

Handling Complex Transactions: Managing complex transactions or sequences of transactions via voice commands without confusing the user.

Project Results

Utilize advanced natural language processing (NLP) tools and continually train the voice recognition system using diverse data sets to improve accuracy. Integrate fallback mechanisms to confirm sensitive commands via text or touch input.

Optimize the voice activation module with noise-cancellation techniques and allow for customization of wake-up commands. Also, regularly update the recognition algorithms to adapt to different environments and usage scenarios.

Break down complex transactions into smaller, confirmable steps and provide clear, concise prompts. Allow users to review or cancel commands before executing them. Optimize the voice bot for both iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) platforms. Extensive testing of various devices is conducted to identify and address performance issues.
